Elena Dobravec was born in Russia. She studied acting, piano and classical singing.
She graduated in 1999 from RATI-GITIS (Russian Academy of Theatre Art) in Moscow.
Soon after graduation she came to Slovenia and worked with SNG Celje theatre and Viba Film Studio.
Until 2001 she was employed at Nova Gorica Music School.
In the meantime she attended additional study of opera singing at Conservatorio di Venezia, with prof. Stella Silva.
She is now a member of Ljubljana Opera. She also collaborates with Slovenian Chamber Music Theatre and regularly performs as solo artist in The Slovenian Philharmonic.
